Visiting Torness Power Station

  

Fascinating visit to Torness Nuclear Power Station today, meeting management and Union Reps. The power station is an important part of the economy in East Lothian, so it was important to me to get a view of how it fits in, especially regarding alternative energy sources and our transition away from fossil fuels.

Visiting Astrosat in Musselburgh

  

It was really great to be out visiting Stevenson Astrosat in Musselburgh on Friday. I was extremely impressed at the innovative ways the company is are using satellite data and emerging space technologies to solve significant national and global problems. It’s great to see important work like this being done in our constituency.

Visiting the Scottish Seabird Centre

  

A pleasure to visit the Scottish Seabird Centre, and Chief Executive Susan Davies yesterday. The Seabird Centre is a major employer in North Berwick and an International tourist attraction.
