"The UK’s broadband universal service scheme, introduced by the Government, gives eligible homes and businesses the legal right to request an upgraded connection if they can’t get a download speed of 10 Mbit/s and an upload speed of 1 Mbit/s."

Broadband universal service goes live – advice for customers
New rules giving you the right to request a decent and affordable broadband connection come into force today (20 March).
East Lothian Council have announced that both green and blue boxes will return to being collected at the same time on your scheduled collection day from Wednesday March 25th until further notice.
All recycling centres in the County are now open again. According to East Lothian Council:
"All four recycling centres are open. Due to social distancing rules, we have had to implement changes to how we operate.
- Residents must bring photographic identification with them to prove they are from East Lothian.
- Attendants cannot offer any assistance to unload vehicles.
- Children must remain in the vehicle at all times.
- Residents must remain at least 2 metres away from site attendants and other site users.
