Contact forms

If you use the contact form my office will collect your name (should you provide it) and your email address.  This is done solely so I can respond to your enquiry.

Newsletter

If you sign up to receive my newsletter, my office will collect your name (should you provide it) and your email address.  This is done to subscribe you to my newsletter.

My office uses Mailchimp as our marketing platform. By subscribing, you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to Mailchimp for processing. Learn more about Mailchimp’s privacy practices here.

We use a Twitter Tweet widget at our website. As a result, our website makes requests to Twitter’s servers for you to be able to tweet our webpages using your Twitter account. Who we share your data with

We do not share your data with any other organisation without your consent.  Should we need to share your data with someone else in order to advance a case we are working on with you, your consent will be sought.

How long we retain your data

Contact data is held for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry, or while you remain signed up to the newsletter.  Data provided to us via other sources is governed by seperate privacy policies regarding casework.  For more information please contact me.

What rights you have over your data

If you have signed up for my newsletter, or used the ‘Contact Me’ form, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Form submissions may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
